Saniflo Upflush Toilets
Saniflo Upflush Toilet Systems
In recent years, Upflush systems have become more popular than they’ve ever been. Ideal for small spaces, anyplace with sub-par plumbing, and installing bathrooms in closets, basements, and studios, the Upflush toilet system is a unique mixture of form and functionality. Here at Saniflo Depot, we’ve got a large selection of Saniflo upflush toilets to choose from. Here’s what you need to know about these unique systems:
What are Saniflo Upflush Toilets?
Not familiar with the concept of an upflush toilet? Designed to pump waste up, against gravity, upflush toilets don’t rely on traditional gravity-fed plumbing. Consequently, they make it possible to install a toilet in places where adding traditional plumbing would otherwise cost thousands of dollars.
Her’s what Saniflo itself has to say about the Saniflo upflush toilet:
“Traditionally, toilets flush gravitationally, letting the water flow down, beneath the toilet, then to your stack. The Saniflo toilet system discharges out the back of the commode, and into a macerator, which is sitting inside a pump. The pump then pumps the ground sewage up through PVC pipe, right to your existing stack. The benefit is that you can build a bathroom anywhere for a fraction of the cost of installing pipes. Saniflo also built their toilet system as true DIY installation with the goal of a four-hour installation.”
Who Should use a Saniflo Upflush Toilet?
The Saniflo upflush toilet system is ideal for anyone who wants to remodel a home or add a bathroom, but doesn’t want to rip out existing plumbing, or spend thousands of dollars adding new plumbing. Because a Saniflo upflush toilet can plug into your existing plumbing with the help of a few PVC pipes, it’s a great alternative to digging up subfloor and adding plumbing, or going without a bathroom at all.
