For heavy-duty commercial and residential applications such as high-efficiency washing machines and commercial dishwashers, the SANICOM 1 drain pump is ideal for the toughest wastewater pumping installations.

It can resist exceptionally high temperatures up to 194°F to sustain the toughest applications from commercial areas, such as restaurant dishwashers. These applications must operate at high temperatures to meet health and sanitation standards.

Commercial applications such as high-efficiency washing machines can also benefit from the SANICOM 1 drain pump because they can be connected directly to the pump instead of through a laundry tray, eliminating the extra cost and installation of a utility sink and other sanitary fixtures.

The heavy-duty SANICOM 1 drain pump is specially designed to withstand liquids with highly acidic properties, such as wastewater from processing applications and hot water.

Gray water enters through one of two side inlets, both measuring 2 inches, before being pumped to the drain line through a 1-inch rigid discharge pipe, which can remove up to 33 gallons per minute (gpm). The discharge installation includes a rubber discharge elbow that adapts to the discharge pipe and can be rotated 360 degrees, as well as a non-return valve.

SANICOM 1 can discharge and pump gray water up to 25 feet vertically, 250 feet horizontally, or a combination of both in a normal operating cycle. (Regarding pumping capabilities, a vertical run of 3 feet equals a horizontal run of 30 feet.) It should be noted that when draining wastewater into the gray water pump through either of the side inlets, an external check valve (not supplied) needs to be installed. The powerful, 1-horsepower motor and a non-clogging impeller design make the SANICOM 1 capable of handling laundry lint and other small solids up to 3/8 inches in diameter.
